how i wish there was a way to force someone to hire me. i’ve been in for [project x] several times over the past couple of months. auditions have gone well and if (when?) hired, i know i’d rock that shit - yet the powers that be seem to be slightly uncertain.

…if there was a way for me to invite them over and show them how much they’d be missing if they passed on me, i’d do it. alas, i can’t come up with a way that isn’t insane.

sigh! patience is not one of my virtues. i’m gonna go soothe myself with bridget jones and liz lemon.

- my friend teaches theatre to middle schoolers in texas and thought it would be cool for them to have a bit of a press day with a real actor [via skype]. after four thirty-minute interviews over the course of the day, i think we we were all a bit tired…but i came away with some real gems. those kids are hilarious. (hi, obanion!)

very soon, i get to have another secret day of shooting. yes! the people involved are such a joy and so very nice but, seeing as how they’re kind of a big deal, there’s a slight conundrum: i can’t decide if i should be all “good to see y’all again” or just shut the hell up and do my job.

a friend suggested smacking their asses and impregnating them which, i suppose, is an option as well…but only with the one that wears glasses.
